China Goat – Charlotte
introduction
The links above are for our music that we used when making our film trailer. Before we made any decisions we researched into other teenage angst films such as Easy A and American Pie. From this we discovered that the music that is used is normally quite up beat and happy. By following this convention we found the music above and decided that these were the songs that we were going to use. In the end we decided to use the songs china goat and bouncing. We chose these songs because we felt that they were best suited to the genre of our film which is teenage angst, they are up beat and happy, however bouncing also turns into a rock song, this changes as the fight scene occurs which connotes that it is a violent and aggressive scene.

Locations Of A2 Media Trailer

The images on the left hand side are shots of the locations that we will be using when filming. The images include a science lab, a library and school corridors. Before deciding on locations for our film we researched other teenage angst films, and looked at the locations in which they were filmed. We found that the most common places used where around schools, eg; corridors, classrooms and libraries. So we felt that to make our film fit in with the teenage angst genre we should use similar locations. We decided to stick to this stereotypical convention of teenage angst films because we felt that it worked very well and that it suited the storyline of our film nicely too.
