Jack Palmer Film Poster

This is my poster for my film Jack Palmer. Again the consistent synergy that I have used is shown through the title and the colours that I have used. For my title of my poster and the title of the film that appears on my magazine cover I have used the font Eras Demi ITC, I used this font because it is a very simple and clear font and which makes it easier to read for the audience. I chose the colour pink for my title as again it connotes feminism, and my main target audience is females aged 16-24 years old.

The image that I have used appears on both print texts aswell, it shoes the character Jack surrounded by girls from the school. This could suggest that there may be a relationship between Jack and one of the girls at somepoint in the film. The medium long shot that used shows Jack as the dominant character as he is the only male character and he is displayed bigger than each of the girls.

The billing block at the bottom of my poster is again in a clear, simple font. It credits everybody that helped to create and film my film, including the actors. I decided to put the billing block it a white font to keep it visible for the audience.

My tagline that I have used is 'But who will he chose?' This is in reference to the character Jack Palmer and who he will choose in terms of going out with. This remains a mystery until the end of the film. This makes it exciting for the audience as they are unaware of who he will choose.

I have used a black drop shadow on my title and tagline. I used this drop shadow as I felt that it made the title stand out from the rest of the poster and with the glow around it as well it draws the audiences attention straight to the title.
